Global Cold Chain Expo
IARW associate members have the
opportunity to exhibit at the Global Cold Chain Expo, held in
conjunction with the Annual Convention. Warehousemen attending the
convention are executive management who are able to make buying
decisions. Many associate members have sales opportunities with
other associate members and members of the International
Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA), as well.
International Cold Chain Directory
As an IARW associate member, your
company will receive a free listing in the annual directory of the
International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses, the World Food
Logistics Organization, the International Refrigerated
Transportation Association and the International Association for
Cold Storage Construction. This joint publication is the
sourcebook for thousands of customers searching for cold chain
solutions.

Advertising and Sponsorships
Associate Members have the opportunity
to advertise in the International Cold Chain Directory and
receive daily exposure for an entire year to a readership tailored
to their companies’ products. Additional advertising opportunities
are available throughout the year on the IARW website, or in the
bimonthly Cold Facts newsletter. Sponsorship opportunities
are also available at many association events.
IARW Logo
All IARW members may use the
association’s logos on their website(s), stationery, advertising or
other printed materials. This logo represents a “seal of quality,”
which is widely recognized by cold chain industry professionals.
All members also receive an IARW membership plaque to display
onsite.
Networking & Education Opportunities
Annual Convention
Held in conjunction with the Global Cold
Chain Expo, this event offers a variety of industry-related
programs. Associate members are encouraged to submit presentations
for consideration. The convention also offers ample opportunity to
network with potential customers via a host of organized social
activities, including a golf tournament.
Assembly of Committees
Annually IARW-WFLO conducts a series of
committee meetings in partnership with its allied groups the
International Refrigerated Transportation Association and the
International Association for Cold Storage Construction. In total,
ten committees meet to discuss current issues in warehouse
operations, administration, construction trends, research,
transportation and more.
North American Chapters
IARW has six chapters located throughout
North America with their own regionally elected officers. Meetings
of these groups offer geographically convenient and economically
feasible opportunities for meeting with warehouse members,
broadening understanding of the industry. Associate members are
often invited present at these meetings, as well.
Newsletters
Associate members receive the weekly
Cold Connection e-mail from IARW to keep them abreast of
developments and business opportunities in the industry. The Cold
Facts newsletter provides a forum for sharing news about new
products and for keeping up-to-date on warehouse member news.
Joint Memberships
IARW associate members can also add
membership in the International Association for Cold Storage
Construction (IACSC) or the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO)
at discounted rates. Membership in these groups will increase
access to potential customers.
International Outreach
Cold Chain Development
Through a growing number of
government-funded projects, WFLO actively contributes to increasing
awareness of cold chain issues. With assessments, training, design
and feasibility studies, the organization works to ensure the growth
of a strong industry, which means more demand and a greater number
of business opportunities for industry suppliers.
Consultancy Opportunities
With a growing number of development
projects to implement, WFLO regularly seeks short-term technical
assistance from IARW member companies. Participating members gain
invaluable insight into the state of the cold chain in developing
countries, as well as the opportunity to make potential business
contacts.
