Project Description
The World Food Logistics Organization, in cooperation with the

strengthening the awareness of U.S. food safety systems and
distribution logistics in the supply chain. Efforts to enhance
the fresh, chilled and frozen warehousing and distribution industry
and to increase consumer confidence in U.S. food safety,
bio-security and proper handling methods should result in increased
export opportunities for U.S. suppliers while reducing post harvest,
storage and distribution related product losses.
Activities
conducted during the scope of the program included a review of the
existing activities in the region pertaining to cold chain
enhancement and association building efforts; development of a
local-language resource directory for industry organizations,
including principal ports of entry, refrigerated warehouses,
