The Global Cold Chain
Alliance Assembly of Committees is the best opportunity of the year for
members of Alliance
Core Partners (IARW, WFLO, IRTA and IACSC) to discuss key issues,
learn about the industry, participate in discussions with colleagues,
share experiences, and more. Every committee from the Core Partner
organizations meets during the four-day event, which will feature the
theme "Back to Basics" in 2007.
There are no registration
fees to participate in these valuable committee meetings, the government
reception, or the breakfasts or luncheons on Sunday and Monday. To be a
part of any committee, the only requirements are membership in one of
the committee's organizations, your interest, and a commitment to attend
the meeting. We encourage you to serve on as many committees as your
schedule permits.
In these meetings, important
decisions are made and recommendations sent to the boards of directors
of IARW, WFLO, IRTA, and IACSC for action that affects the entire cold
chain industry. “I can’t think of a more important activity for members
to engage in this summer than the Assembly of Committees,” says Alliance
President & CEO Bill Hudson. “The expertise, experience, and leadership
they bring to these meetings is critical for us to do our jobs
representing them and developing the best programs and benefits to meet
their needs.”
