The IARW-WFLO Convention Cold Chain Study Tour is a six day program being held 22 -27 April 2012 for international delegates who are interested in attending the IARW-WFLO Convention & Expo. Delegates are invited to join IARW on an exclusive, post- convention cold chain tour in Los Angeles, California from 25 -27 April 2012, after attending the IARW Convention & Expo from 22 - 25 April 2012.
At the 121st IARW-WFLO Convention & Expo, we’ll explore what success looks like in today’s temperature-controlled logistics market. We’ll also give you actionable tips for how to be successful, satisfying customer demands while reducing your bottom line. With the theme “Energizing Success,” we’ll take a look at:
- How to reduce your energy costs
- How to meet increasing customer demand
- How to navigate the latest government regulations
- What market changes you can anticipate in the next five years
Delegates will visit two facilities owned by two of the largest public refrigerated warehouse companies in the world - AmeriCold and Castle & Cooke; attend the cold storage industry’s premier networking event, and learn about the fundamentals of the cold chain in the United States.
Cost of the total program is US $1,750 single occupancy. The price includes: registration for the IARW-WFLO Convention & Expo, airfare from Tucson to Los Angeles, three nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn – Los Angeles, California, transportation in Los Angeles to tour stops, and facility visits around Los Angeles.
