Weather and Dress Code
Washington is hot and humid in July. Average high is 85°F (30°C). Meeting rooms at the hotel will be set at 72°F (22°C). Air conditioning at many restaurants, shops, theaters, etc. can be chilly.
Attire
Attire for meetings and luncheons is business casual. The rooms tend to be chilly. For the Sunday and Monday evening activities, women will be comfortable in a summer dress or slacks and a blouse, and men should wear a coat, optional tie.
Bringing Your Family
Spouses, guests, and children are invited to join delegates at the Sunday and Monday lunches, as well as the Sunday evening activity and the Monday Food Industry and Government Reception. There is no official children’s program but popular activities include the Smithsonian Institution which operates the National Zoo, Natural History Museum and Air and Space Museum. For details contact the hotel concierge.
Baby sitting is available through the concierge with advance reservations required. Rates are $20.00 per hour for 1 child, 2 children is $21.00 per hour, up to 3 children is $22.00 per hour and more than 3 will need another sitter. There is a 4 hour minimum for any number of children. There may be a $20.00 transportation charge if requested.

Hotel Details
- Check in time is after 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 12:00 p.m.
- Valet parking is available at the hotel for $28. Overnight parking is $47 per day.
- Rooms are equipped with hair dryers, ironing boards, and irons.
- The business center is open 24 hours, 7 days a week on the Lobby Level.
- Contact the hotel concierge for theater tickets, transportation, baby-sitting, tour information, dinner reservations and other special requests.
- The hotel operates a health club located on three levels and covering 12,500 square feet. This state-of-the-art facility features an array of cardiovascular equipment. A complete line of Cybex strength training equipment is available, as well. The Fitness Club features an indoor lap pool and a eucalyptus-scented steam room. Hours are 5:30 am- 10:00 pm.

- Seasons Restaurant: Location is one floor below the lobby level. Open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 6:30 am-10:30 am, Saturday and Sunday 7:00-10:30 am. Lunch Saturday from 11:30 am-2:30 pm. Brunch Sunday from 10:30 am-2:30 pm.
- Bourbon Steak: The restaurant features contemporary American fare with a focus on seasonal ingredients, as well as Mina's award-winning butter-poached meat and poultry and classic seafood dishes. Lunch, Monday through Friday 11:30 am-2:30 pm. Dinner Sunday through Thursday 6:00-10:00 pm, Friday and Saturday, 5:30-10:30 pm. Reservations recommended +1 202 944 2026.
